Utah Man Charged For Death of Baby Son in Motorcycle Accident.

Shannon Moore, 48 years-old, took his 1 year-old son, Richard, for a quick ride on his motorcycle in Taylorsville, Utah. The ride turned deadly when Moore lost control of his bike and the motor vehicle crashed.

During the fatal ride, baby Richard was placed on the handlebars, between his father and the gas tank. Moore was allegedly driving at an excessive rate of speed when he took a turn, causing him to lose control of the motorcycle.

Moore crashed. He and the baby were then both thrown from the motorcycle. The motorcycle skidded over thirty feet on the road, which had a 10 mph speed limit.

Baby Richard was killed instantly. Moore suffered only minor personal injuries.

Moore is expected to be criminally charged for the death of his son.
