The sixteen-year-old teenager was riding his 2013 Yamaha motorbike, riding along the Lookout Trail. The lookout trail, just north of Santa Clarita has an off-road riding area where the teenager was traveling on. According to police, he was riding down a steep incline at about 11:00 a.m., when made he made an unsafe right turn and veered off the trail. He lost control of the motorbike and flew down the incline. Baugher was ejected from his bike just before he and his bike flew down to the bottom of the ravine.
Baugher was airlifted to Henry Mayo Medical Center. Sadly, he died of his injuries.
