Motorcyclist Involved In Fatal Accident Identified As 30 Year-Old Father of Three From St. Josephs, Missouri.

Riding a motorcycle may give their riders a sense of freedom, unlike anything you can experience while riding in a car or a truck. The only problem is that with this freedom comes little to no protection in the case of an accident. Even the most experienced bikers in the world need to be aware of their surroundings at all times. No matter how many safety precautions you take prior to your ride, there is always the possibility that the negligence of another driver can lead to you being involved in an accident. The expert motorcycle accident lawyers and wrongful death attorney specialists at the Law Offices of Gilbert R. Hoy, Jr. and Affiliates have decades of experience that have earned us a national reputation for excellence and have enabled us to recover millions of dollars for our Massachusetts based clients.

A motorcyclist has died from injuries suffered in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident late this past Sunday afternoon on King Hill Avenue in St. Josephs, Missouri. The family and police have confirmed that 30 year-old Randy “Scott” Hardin died from the accident. Authorities said the motorcycle collided with a vehicle near Kansas Avenue but are unsure of how the accident happened.

Mr. Hardin was pronounced brain dead at the scene and later died in the hospital. The St. Joseph Police said the driver of the vehicle that collided with Hardin is in custody. Sgt. Chris McBane said the driver did turn himself or herself in after leaving the scene of the accident but the name of that driver has not been released.
