Meriden, Connecticut Man Dies After Crashing Motorcycle Into Guardrail.

The Meriden, Connecticut Police Department said they’re investigating after a man died following a motorcycle accident. Late one night recently, the police responded to the area of Hanover Road and Prospect Avenue for a report of a motorcycle crash. When they arrived, police found Lamont Williams, 44, of Meriden, Connecticut laying between the sidewalk and guardrail on Hanover Road. Mr. Williams was fatally injured after hitting the guardrail, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Police have said Mr. Williams was riding south on Hanover Road on his Suzuki motorcycle when he was unable to negotiate a left bend in the road, and struck the guardrail on his right side. His motorcycle then struck the guardrail several more times. After Mr. Williams was knocked off the motorcycle, he hit the guardrail with his head. According to the responding police officer, he wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
