Last Sunday evening, 42 year-old Sokhan Mao, of Amherst, Massachusetts, got seriously hurt after crashing his motorcycle in the town of Marlboro, VT.
Mao was riding his motorcycle east on Route 9 in Marlboro, when he lost control of the motorbike. Mao was thrown from the motorcycle and skid some distance across the pavement.
Emergency medical personnel rushed Mao to the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital emergency room. From there, Mao was airlifted to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. The motorcyclist suffered a broken leg and broken arm. He was listed in serious condition.
The Marlboro Police have stated that Mao was wearing a helmet at the time of the biker crash and that a full investigation of the motorcycle accident is underway at the present time.
