This past Sunday, an amateur motorcycle racer died at the Thunderhill Raceway Park, while racing his motorcycle on the popular Willows, California race-course.
According to the police in Willows, California, 50 year-old Kenneth Ray Henry arrived at the Thunderhill race track on Friday, November 22, with two of his friends. Henry was racing his Yamaha motorcycle on Sunday afternoon at speeds of approximately 80 to 100 miles per hour. At around 1:30 p.m., Henry suddenly let go of the handlebars and fell backwards from the motorcycle.
Emergency medical services arrived moments after the motorcycle crash, to find other racers performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Henry. Henry was then rushed to the emergency room at Glenn Medical Center. Henry died from his personal injuries at the hospital approximately one hour after the motorcycle accident.
The Glenn County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances of the biker crash, and the police have ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of Henry’s wrongful death.
